Best Padang restaurant in Singapore! This is our go-to place whenever we’re feeling homesick. As an Indonesian, Padang food is always the answer when you’re hungry—huge portions and bold, savoury flavours. We’ve been here many times and it’s never disappointed (except the rare times it’s closed ). The ayam goreng and ayam bakar are consistently good, and my husband loves the paru goreng (fried lungs). Our absolute favourites are the dendeng batokok (beef jerky with green chilli) and the sambal goreng with tempeh and tofu cubes—so good! Don’t skip the fritters! The tempe goreng and bakwan (vegetable fritter) are a must for that perfect crunch Pair everything with their homemade drinks—we especially love the lemongrass drink. Pro tip: always ask for gravy over your rice, and ditch the utensils for maximum enjoyment

Came across by chance because took the wrong bus so ended at Lucky plaza. Pretty good ,if you love authentic Indonesia food. This will be my recommendation but do prepare at least $12 of you buying drinks. Go ahead and try if you are around there.

Tasteful Indonesian food, very authentic. The star dish is their beef rendang. Succulent, full of flavour, all meat, no tendons. The chicken curry is average. Recommended. I’ll be back! Thumbs up!
